Floradora

Adelaide Gin’s floral nature is fully embodied in the Floradora cocktail. Named after a hugely successful musical comedy first staged in London’s West End and then on Broadway, the story goes that at an after-party, one of the female cast members asked a bartender to make her a cocktail. She asked for something completely brand new and this was the drink he made. It caught on quickly and became a bit hit with the New York crowd.

Ingredients

50ml Adelaide Gin
25ml Lime juice
25ml Raspberry syrup
Ginger ale
Fresh raspberries

Method

Shake the gin, lime juice and raspberry syrup with ice. Strain into a high ball glass with lots of ice and top up with ginger ale.
Garnish with a couple fresh raspberries.
